Terms of Service

These terms govern use of SpeakUp SD, a system design interview speaking practice application.

Product Boundary

SpeakUp SD provides practice questions, audio recording flows, speech transcription, pronunciation analysis, AI-generated scoring, feedback, study plans, progress tracking, and account features. AI scoring and feedback are coaching inputs, not hiring, employment, admissions, ranking, or eligibility decisions.

User Responsibilities

• Use the product for lawful interview practice and personal learning.
• Do not upload secrets, passwords, private company data, protected third-party content, or sensitive personal information.
• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, payment controls, authentication, or abuse protections.

Recording Consent

Recording features require microphone access. Open Practice audio remains on the user's device and is not sent for transcription or AI scoring. In AI modes, audio may be captured, transcribed, analyzed by AI, connected to whiteboard evidence, and stored according to the Privacy Policy.

Payments and Refunds

Web payments use PayPal when Web checkout is enabled. Native digital purchases use Apple In-App Purchase on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android, with RevenueCat used to verify store entitlement events. Paid access and credits are added only after a verified event reaches the payment ledger. Refund eligibility depends on the purchase channel and applicable law.

Account and Data

Users may export data and delete their account through Settings where available. Users may also use the account deletion page for deletion instructions, including the manual support route for users who cannot sign in.
